Homeland Security Certificate

The Homeland Security Certificate is designed to ready students for Domestic and International terrorism and will prepare them to enter a career field specialized in Homeland Security and public safety. Courses are offered 100% online enabling students to keep their jobs and continue developing their professional resume.

Upon successful completion of the Homeland Security Certificate  program, students will have acquired the knowledge and skills to: 

  • Compare trends in terrorism from the mid-1950’s to present day and discussing historical, political and religious assassinations that have impacted the course of history.
  • Create security checklists to facilitate a proper risk analysis and know how to quantify risk using probability and estimated losses.
  • Identifying various governmental agencies in multiple countries that manage disasters in their respective countries.
