As a busy mental health professional working mostly in a civil forensic setting, a significant portion of my work revolves around assessing psychological injuries in various contexts, such as asylum, employment, immigration, and personal injury. Additionally, I am occasionally required to testify at trials as an expert witness. Law unquestionably plays a crucial role in my professional life, and pursuing legal studies has always been a part of my career development plan.
However, quitting my current job to attend law school full-time is not feasible—until I discovered ALU. In the United States, only a few law schools can accommodate my demanding work schedule and tight budget, and ALU stood out after extensive research. ALU offers reasonable tuition without compromising the expected quality of legal education.
ALU presents an opportunity for me to pursue my legal education without having to relocate or leave my current job. I completed my Master of Science in Law in 2021, and my career has undoubtedly benefited from the training I received at ALU. I am truly grateful to ALU for contributing to my professional development. With any luck, I will even be able to earn a JD from ALU in the near future!

MSL with Distinction, 2021
I graduated Cum Laude from Abraham Lincoln University’s School of Law in 2011. I was able to achieve a successful balance between being a student and a full-time Paralegal, studying and attending classes on evenings and weekends, not only because of ALU’s online platform but because I’ve been working since I was in high school when my father became disabled. Since then I have transitioned from a management career in the corporate world to practicing law, after having observed years of abuse of wrongfully terminated and injured workers. That’s when I returned to school and received my Paralegal Certification from UCLA in 2000. I then began my career as a plaintiff’s personal injury paralegal which ultimately inspired me to earn my Juris Doctor years later. Today, I’m a practicing Attorney in the areas of personal injury, including catastrophic injuries, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, product liability, wrongful death, elder abuse, and insurance bad faith and have settled cases in excess of $50 million dollars. For more than 18 years now I have been an advocate on behalf of plaintiffs and have taken the lessons I learned from working all my life to strive to help individuals who have been wrongly injured, obtain justice.

Since graduating from Abraham Lincoln University School of Law in 2017, I have worked as a Labor and Employment Attorney for Wiley Price & Radulovich, LLP and started my own law firm, Boucher Law, PC in January 2020. In March 2022, Manage HR Magazine featured Boucher Law, PC as one of America’s Top 10 Emerging Employment Law Firms.
During my time as a law student at ALU, I worked full-time as an HR executive for one of the nation’s largest aviation and maritime ports in Oakland, CA. With ALU’s support, I became a California licensed attorney-at-law when I passed the bar exam on my first try. I’m especially grateful for ALU’s flexible learning method since without it I wouldn’t have been able to hold such a demanding position while earning my JD.

I am currently the sole attorney in Frazee Law Group, but I do contract with other attorneys as needed. I began my legal career working as a law firm receptionist when I was 20 years old and eventually realized that I preferred working on legal cases rather than dealing with managerial tasks. While I attended Abraham Lincoln University School of Law, from 2004-2008, I worked during the day as a litigation paralegal preparing for and participating in court trials, and went to law school at night and weekends. I took the California Bar at 65 years of age in 2008 and passed on the first attempt. Throughout my working years at law firms, I was told many times that I would never become an attorney, and look at me now! I have been recognized for many legal accomplishments since, but my highest personal achievement has been being admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court in 2016. I truly enjoyed my time at ALU, particularly working in study groups and experiencing the friendly atmosphere that the professors created. I am still friends with many of my fellow ALU classmates.
